Denise Senmartin is an Assistant Professor of Internationalization and Open Knowledge at the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. She is currently representing K4DP in the Latin America and the Caribbean region, serves as a Senior Editor of the journal Knowledge Management for Development, and as a member of the related core group of the community of practice. She has worked in knowledge management and information and communication technologies for multilateral, national, and local organizations in the Americas, West Africa, and Southeast Asia. She has designed and implemented Knowledge Sharing and Learning programs for the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, and the Inter-American Development Bank, combining in-person, virtual, and innovative methodologies for evidence-based training of public officials and multidisciplinary teams. At the Argentine Ministry of the Interior, she led institutional strengthening and training processes in metropolitan areas, incorporating participatory and empowerment approaches. As a professor, she has developed courses on knowledge management, educational technologies, digital inclusion, and gender approaches in teaching, contributing to the training of new generations of professionals. Her experience combines instructional design, group facilitation, and support of learning processes, with a solid ability to adapt methodologies to different contexts and audiences. She received the Argentine Social Ambassador Award as part of a team and has led volunteer projects with migrant associations in the United States and Europe. Her current research addresses digital and networked transnational participation and knowledge sharing.
